Allowed content

Reviews should describe a first-hand experience, distinguish fact from opinion, avoid private information, and disclose incentives or conflicts.

Moderation

HGM may withhold or remove spam, impersonation, threats, unlawful content, unverifiable accusations stated as fact, duplicate submissions, promotional content, or privacy violations. Favorable and unfavorable reviews use the same standard.

Companies cannot pay to alter ratings or remove legitimate negative reviews.
