Upload one or more written estimates for independent review. This is separate from asking movers to contact you. Your documents are not shared with moving companies through HGM.

Upload your written estimates.

Choose the help you need, add a few move details, and upload up to five files. For a comparison, include the complete estimates and inventories for up to three movers. After upload, you can review the filenames and selected service on a private page. You can decide whether to pay after reviewing that page.

Already have a PDF? Open the attachment in your email or the mover’s website and choose Download or Save. There’s no need to convert it again.

  • iPhone or iPad: Open the PDF, tap Share, then Save to Files. For an estimate displayed as a webpage in Safari, open Share, choose Markup, then Done and Save File To. Menu names can vary by version.
  • Android: Download the PDF attachment. For a webpage in Chrome, open the menu, choose Share, then Print. Select Save as PDF and save it to your device.
  • Computer: Open the estimate and choose Print (Ctrl+P on Windows or Command+P on Mac). Choose Save as PDF, Microsoft Print to PDF, or the PDF menu, then save it somewhere easy to find.

If the estimate won’t save or some pages are missing, ask the moving company to email the complete estimate as a PDF.

Upload your saved file

  1. Return here and select Choose files (or Choose a file).
  2. Find the document in Files or Downloads, then select it. On a phone, you may need to tap Browse or Choose File first.
  3. Check the filename and preview. Include every page of the estimate and its inventory. PDF, JPG, and PNG are accepted; each file must be 10 MB or smaller.
  4. Complete the form and press its upload or submit button. Selecting a file alone does not upload it. Wait for the confirmation or saved-file list before leaving.

For other uploads, follow the same steps using the document requested by that form. Remove sensitive financial and identification information before uploading.

Files are screened for moving-estimate content. Scans, photos, and unclear documents require manual review. Screening does not verify authenticity or pricing.

Remove bank, card, Social Security, and government ID numbers before uploading. You may redact unnecessary names and addresses where doing so will not prevent the review. Keep company details, estimate terms, inventory, and information needed for the review readable.

No charge for submitting. Access to unpaid files expires after seven days. Save the private link shown after submission.

What HGM reviews

Inventory gaps, estimate language, payment schedules, carrier or broker presentation, possible added charges, and questions to ask. HGM does not provide legal advice, choose or negotiate with a mover, or guarantee price, safety, or performance.

After upload, you can review the selected service and document list on a private screen. Save that link. A paid review starts only after checkout is available and you choose to pay.

When to expect your review

Written reviews are delivered within 2 business days after payment and all required documents are received. If anything is missing, we’ll contact you promptly.

For Review + Call, we offer appointment options within 5 business days after payment and all required documents are received. The appointment you choose may be later.

Business days are Monday–Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays.

Moving within 5 calendar days? We’ll prioritize your review at no extra charge. Our standard turnaround still applies. If your move is less than 2 business days away, contact support@haveagoodmove.com before purchasing.

Download and save your documents within 90 days after your review is completed. For help with older files, contact support@haveagoodmove.com.
