TWO MEN AND A TRUCK: Full HGM research
Research reviewed October 7, 2026. Records and terms can change.
Federal records, operating arrangements, consumer evidence and source limitations behind HGM’s overview. Use the short company profile for the key booking considerations.
Research context and what to verify
Check the legal company and service at your actual office. Location-specific registrations and experiences cannot represent the whole network.
Federal identity and authority
This is a national brand and franchise guide, not one nationwide operating-carrier profile. The legal company, USDOT number, interstate authority and state licensing depend on the office and service booked. Official materials describe independently owned and operated locations, with hourly availability and minimums that can vary by location.
The corporate USDOT 2973885 record retained below is broker/freight-forwarder context from HGM’s October 6 review. It is not the motor-carrier credential for every branded move and was not independently reverified in this review-evidence update. No local franchise’s registration is assigned to the national brand.
Review evidence and dated accounts
Conservative working sample: Approximately 15–20 usable location-attributed accounts, considered by office/source group rather than pooled nationally.
Primary date range: November 2025–August 2026, with older pricing examples retained separately.
Selected anchors:
- Kissimmee — Shawnna — August 10, 2026 — Professional, careful crew
- Kissimmee — Chris — June 25, 2026 — Punctuality, no damage, lower-end estimate
- Kissimmee — Marisol — June 2, 2026 — Wrapping, loading and crew continuity
- Kissimmee — Reilly — May 28, 2026 — Respectful crew and shorter-than-estimated duration
- Miami — Juan — July 16, 2026 — Careful handling
- Miami/Doral — Alette — June 1, 2026 — Office contact, timing and artwork handling
- Miami — Traci — May 28, 2026 — Efficient, careful crew
- St. Louis-area complaint — June 6, 2026 — Cancellation charge subsequently refunded
- St. Louis-area complaint — May 21, 2026 — Property-damage follow-through dispute
- Ocala — Steve B — April 19, 2026 — Cancellation/payment concern
- Ocala — Ken S — February 6, 2026 — Damage and responsibility dispute
- Omaha/Lincoln — Dillon S — December 4, 2025 — Weather-related cancellations disputed by customer
- Northbrook-group — Jeff F — March 7, 2026 — Claim identifies Glendale Heights branch
- Upland — Shelby C — November 4, 2025 — Loading, damage and compensation concerns
Favorable 2026 accounts are concentrated in two Florida company-hosted review pages. They establish those reported experiences, not national satisfaction levels. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK
Resolution updates: The St. Louis-area cancellation complainant confirmed a refund and apology on June 25, 2026. Upland’s response says its crew returned to reload without extra charge; the remaining damage dispute should not be described as wholly corrected. Better Business Bureau
Screening decisions:
- A February 2026 Upland deposit account was excluded from service themes because the business disputed that the person was authorized to act for it.
- Search snippets misassociated newer dates with older Ocala, Louisville and Omaha accounts. The opened-page dates control.
- Reviews under one BBB ownership group were not treated as one account per listed branch.
- Responses, repeated pagination and possible cross-posts were not counted again. Complete cross-platform deduplication was unavailable.
Attribution, resolutions and evidence limits
Each account remains attached to its office or BBB ownership group. A complaint under a group profile is not one complaint for every branch listed. The Northbrook-group account identifies Glendale Heights; the headline city does not replace that branch attribution. No local review predicts the performance of another office.
The favorable 2026 accounts are concentrated in two Florida company-hosted review pages. Their selection and geographic limits prevent national satisfaction conclusions. Differences in location ownership, solicitation, service mix and public complaint coverage make national aggregation unreliable.
Older hourly-billing examples are separate from the November 2025–August 2026 primary evidence. Precise account/date locators were not retained for those older examples, so they are not used to assert a current national billing pattern. Weather and safety context belongs with the disputed cancellation account.
The St. Louis-area complainant confirmed a refund and apology June 25, 2026; this is not a national refund policy. Upland’s response states that its crew returned to reload without extra charge, while the damage dispute remained unresolved. Neither response establishes that all concerns were corrected.
The February 2026 Upland deposit account is excluded from normal service findings because the business disputed the person’s authorization to act for it. Theft, altered paperwork or impersonation allegations are not treated as verified company conduct. No national rating, complaint rate, franchise ranking or universal crew size is inferred.
Review methodology
HGM reviewed the October 7, 2026 public-source evidence described below as a targeted qualitative sample, not a complete platform export or representative customer survey. Sample estimates describe usable narratives inspected, not platform totals or independently verified customers. Reviews and complaints are accounts or allegations, not verified events or regulatory findings. Contracts, invoices, photographs and claimed losses were not independently authenticated.
Updated posts, business replies, featured excerpts and repeated snippets count as one account. Cross-platform uniqueness remains uncertain when identifying details are missing. Source pages and ordering can change. Publication, experience and complaint-filing dates are distinguished where available. No national rating, pooled satisfaction rate, complaint rate or frequency claim is inferred.
Operational context and terms

This corporate federal record should not be treated as the motor-carrier credential for every TWO MEN AND A TRUCK location or move.
How the brand structure affects your move
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK’s national materials state that its moving and storage locations are independently owned and operated.
That means the local branded office matters.
The company that quotes, contracts for, or performs a move may be a separate legal entity from the national corporate entity.
The specific company involved may have its own:
- legal business name;
- state registrations;
- USDOT number;
- MC or FF authority where applicable;
- pricing structure;
- valuation terms;
- claims process.
HGM therefore does not treat one location’s registration, reviews, claims record, fleet, or service outcomes as representative of the entire brand.
Why you may see different USDOT numbers
FMCSA records reviewed by HGM show multiple separate legal businesses using the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK DBA.
Examples include:
- Idisi Renaissance Inc. — USDOT 1108883;
- J Steven Donnelly Inc. — USDOT 1129347;
- Nest Tenders Ltd — USDOT 1146396;
- The Keeling Group LLC — USDOT 1142555;
- SAB Moving LLC — USDOT 1199826;
- Allegiance LLC — USDOT 913816 / MC-395598.
These are examples of the network structure.
They are not representative national carrier records.
The local company involved in a move may have a different legal name and may have different federal or state registrations, depending on its role and whether the move is interstate.
Verify the identifiers and authority that apply to the entity actually listed on your documents.
Corporate broker and freight-forwarder context
HGM’s October 6, 2026 recheck identifies TWO MEN AND A TRUCK INTERNATIONAL LLC / USDOT 2973885 as an active broker/freight-forwarder entity.
The October 6, 2026 federal record shows active:
- Broker of Household Goods authority;
- Broker of Property authority;
- Freight Forwarder of Household Goods authority;
- Freight Forwarder of Property authority.
That corporate record does not establish that the company physically transports every branded shipment.
The role used on a specific move depends on the service model, local company, and shipment documents.
Long-distance moves
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK’s long-distance arrangements can vary by service and participating location.
One particularly well-documented example is the brand’s crated long-distance service.
The brand’s crated-service materials state that for that service:
- it is available only at select locations;
- a local TWO MEN AND A TRUCK team loads the crates;
- the crates are placed with a third-party carrier;
- the shipment is delivered through a destination franchise;
- the corporate entity says it acts as a household-goods broker and does not itself transport the individual shipper’s household goods.
That example should not be generalized to every long-distance TWO MEN AND A TRUCK move.
For your move, confirm the companies and transportation roles shown in your own documents.
Pricing and estimates
Do not assume a pricing rule used by one TWO MEN AND A TRUCK location applies across the network.
Ask what document controls the charge and how your specific move is priced.
Depending on the location, service and move type, that may include:
- an hourly rate;
- tariff-based pricing;
- a binding estimate;
- a non-binding estimate;
- another disclosed pricing method.
For covered interstate household-goods moves, use the written estimate and Bill of Lading to identify the controlling terms.
HGM does not treat “fixed,” “guaranteed,” or similar marketing language as a separate federal estimate category.
Valuation and claims
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK’s national materials state that valuation policies and coverage plans can differ by franchise or location.
For interstate household-goods moves, federal valuation options and disclosures may apply through the responsible carrier and move documents.
Confirm:
- the valuation option selected;
- the responsible entity;
- exclusions;
- deductibles where applicable;
- high-value-item requirements;
- written terms attached to the shipment.
The national FAQ directs consumers to contact the local TWO MEN AND A TRUCK location to begin a damage claim.
Ask which legal entity receives the claim and what claim procedure and deadline apply under your documents and applicable law.
Earlier review context
The following account themes and limitations were retained from HGM’s October 6 profile. The dated October 7 evidence above updates that earlier assessment; neither supports frequency conclusions.
Review evidence for TWO MEN AND A TRUCK requires special care because reviews may refer to different independently operated locations.
HGM does not treat a local review as a national finding.
Prior HGM research identified location-specific or move-specific reports involving:
Positive experiences reported
- crew efficiency;
- careful handling;
- individual crew service.
Concerns reported
- damage;
- estimates;
- claims or follow-up;
- missing items.
These are retained only with location and move-context qualification.
They are not intended to:
- measure systemwide frequency;
- establish a network-wide practice;
- predict how another location will perform;
- create an HGM national rating.
National review platforms may aggregate different locations or legal entities. HGM therefore does not average national platform ratings into one brand score.
Where possible, review evidence should be tied to the specific location and operating company involved.
What to check before booking
For a TWO MEN AND A TRUCK move:
- Identify the exact branded location. Get the office address, phone number and legal business name.
- Match the location to your documents. Compare the estimate, Bill of Lading, invoice and other written terms.
- Verify federal identifiers for interstate moves. Check the USDOT number and any MC or FF number that applies to the disclosed role.
- Ask who will physically transport the shipment. Confirm whether the local location will haul the move, another location will participate, or a separate carrier will transport it.
- Ask how the move is priced. Do not assume another location’s pricing model applies.
- Confirm valuation terms. Check the responsible entity and written election.
- Get claims instructions before the move. Know which company receives the claim and what procedures apply.
