What reviewers mention

Reviews posted under Medalist’s name praise efficient crews and careful furniture handling, though they do not identify the company that employed those crews. Local feedback includes quoted-price satisfaction and a disagreement about whether travel time was chargeable. One interstate complaint describes missed pickup arrangements and a disputed cancellation refund; Medalist reported issuing a partial refund. Because Medalist discloses an interstate broker role, check the assigned carrier and the written payment and cancellation terms before booking.

Positive

care taken by crews
competitive pricing
excellent carrier network

Before you book with Medalist Moving Services

Identify who will perform the move

Obtain the assigned carrier’s legal name, USDOT number and contact information. For a Florida local move, ask which registered business will supply the truck and crew.

Separate the payments

Get the broker fee or deposit, carrier charges and refund rules in writing, including what happens if the pickup window is missed.

Finalize the inventory

Confirm how added items change the estimate and whether local charges include driving time, minimum hours or other fees.

Confirm responsibility

Ask who handles pickup changes, delivery updates and claims, and which carrier’s valuation terms apply to your belongings.
